United Neighborhood Health Services is planning a “Back to School Health Day” on Saturday, July 19 from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Main Street Health Center in Nashville (905 Main Street).

The event will give parents and students a chance to get needed immunizations, physicals and dental screenings before school is back in session in August, along with fun games and prizes. In Tennessee, immunizations are required for all Pre-K, Kindergarten and 7th grade students.

  • Southside Family Clinic, 107 Charles E. Davis Boulevard, Nashville 37210

No appointment is necessary on July 19, but appointments are encouraged at other times and locations.

Appointments can be made by calling (615) 620-UNHS (8647).

Students under age 18 are eligible with no residency restriction. There is no charge for students who are insured by TennCare or Cover Kids. Services are provided for uninsured students at a low cost. Dental screenings are provided at no cost with no restrictions.  Private insurance cannot be accepted.
